GREETING CARD

Image
The time we take to write out our personal thoughts, feelings, and appreciation for one another is written proof to the person receiving the message that the writer truly cares. It doesn’t take much but it does make an impact. And, a big one at that. It’s easy to find ourselves lost in our busy workload, crazy schedules, commitments ,responsibilities, and the scramble of everyday life. It’s even easier to feel that we ourselves are lost in it all. But when someone takes the time to write you that you’ve been in their thoughts well,… it impacts all of us on a far greater level than we could ever measure. Throughout your life, your sister is there, laughing with you during good times and supporting you through the bad times. She is the only other person who understands your crazy family and knows both your darkest secrets and your best qualities. This card was made for my sister who was far away from me in hostel. This card was made using mainly of black chart and color sheets. The fr...

MANDALA FEATHER

Image
I was asked to make something aesthetic from a shabby cardboard by my aunt. I covered the cardboard by wrapping it with a chart paper and sealed all the corners. It looked way too better than before after wrapping. To make it  look more appealing, I thought of drawing something over it. Then I had an idea of doing mandala over it. I sat for continuous 4 hours and completed this art piece. I was completely satisfied about the design and my aunt was also happy about it.

MANDALA GODESS

That's when I was curious about mandala art. I purchased different sizes of pens which I use to draw mandala. I searched a lot and ended up with an inspiring and devotional image of goddess Durga. "Tradition is the illusion of permanence", Mandala help us access a deeper creative source that goes beyond logic and order and into mystery, creativity and intuition. I was very patient in doing it as I wanted the final outcome to be more attractive than my previous work . It made me put aside all the thoughts and let my creativity flow. It took nearly 9 hours to complete the detailing. Finally I was very happy about the finished art , I kept admiring the beauty of it. Though it is in black and white, those beads and shining stones of the jewels was eye catchy. Those pair of minutely arched eyebrows is the most striking feature in the face. The  eyes of the goddess made the art more realistic. My family members were very much impressed after seeing the art. They felt very hap...

MANDALA OWL

Image
Vision art has been part of our daily lives. Art can be used to express ourselves , to interact and delight others.  Mandala  reflects Optimism. I was astonished by its meaning and its attractiveness. As I love to draw free hand designs which  enlightens me, my mind directed towards mandala art.  I researched on how it works and started one. This is  my first mandala art of owl. "To be honest, owls aren’t the brightest of birds, amazing as they are; parrots and crows are much smarter. It’s all in the eyes: those magnificent piercing optics are what make all owls look like they are deep in concentrated scrutiny and steeped in long-lost knowledge.” As this is my  first mandala ,I just wanted to try my best and had no special equipment for the art. This owl mandala was just drawn on a 150 gsm paper with a normal  black refill pen. It took around 10 hours to complete the detailing and these hours of peacefulness led me to be in my own world of...
